Its True

"If all men were blind, light would still exist."

Spoken by my friend John. He's an unbeliever, but he speaks truth.

Father, I pray that you would open his eyes to see the light and he would put his confidence in you.

Building my House

Jesus says, "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand."

This carries a lot more weight since being married. I am now building my house.

I married my best friend.

Taken from Joshua Project:
"Converts did not easily forget the Christian convert who was sewn into a fresh yak skin by merciless shaman priests and placed in the broiling sun until the contraction of the skin squeezed the life out of his frame."

We need to pray for those who are being persecuted and for those who persecute.

"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Matt. 10:28

To God, be all glory through our suffering. He is the Prince of Peace.

2five

I have been alive 25 years. Thank you Lord for your sovereignty and how you have guides my steps over the last 25 years. Thank you for my parents, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews. Thank you for my education. Thank you for my salvation. Thank you that I am a citizen of a free country. Thank you for the mentors you have put in my life: my dad, Tim Wallace, Matt Lantz, Kevin East, Chris Legg, and Andrew Bacon. Thank you for my friends. Thank you for my beautiful fiance who is going to be my wife in 30 days! Thank you for her. Thank you for all of my accomplishments and my failures. You have never stopped teaching me and guiding me in the path of righteousness.
"For you formed my inwards parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are you works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was not of them. How precious to me are you thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you." Psalm 139:13-18.
I was only going to write a small part of that but I had to keep going. How beautiful and wonderful is our God! I will marvel at your thoughts for me, Father! I will marvel at your purpose for my life! I was created and given life by HIM to know HIM and to worship HIM.

For His glory is our pleasure!

Father, be glorified.

We have an obligation...

There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings a fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home

So carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world

Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame

So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world

Cause We are a family whose hearts are blazing
So let's raise our candles and light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus
Make us a beacon in darkest times

So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world

Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hepeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
